This classic model with complex elements is carved from one piece of walnut wood. Engraved on one side is the Pagan temple of Garni. The dominant view is that it was built in 77AD. Garni is the only still standing pagan temple in Armenia, which was awarded the UNESCO prize in 2011.

This model is completely handcrafted. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved of one piece of wood. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers.
