This classic model with complex elements is carved from one piece of walnut wood. Engraved on one side is Mount Ararat, which is a national symbol of Armenia and is considered a "Holy Mountain." According to the Book of Genesis, after the flood, Noah's ark descended on Ararat. Ararat consists of two peaks. The traditional Armenian name for the greater peak is Masis (5165 M), and the smaller one is called Sis (3925 m).

This model is completely handcrafted. The surface is treated with natural beeswax. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved of one piece of wood. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers.
